Below you find the answers to questions that have been most frequently asked to our customer service. Is your question not here? Contact our customer service (klantenservice@slimacademy.nl)

Please note: Due to busy periods during the holiday season at PostNL, your order may arrive a bit later.

If you still have not received anything after more than 2 working days, you can contact our customer service. Customer service will figure out where the problem is located. 

You can call at 010- 714 23 43, or you can (if customer service is not available) send an email to: klantenservice@SlimAcademy.nl.

The delivery time depends on the release date of the products you have ordered. All summaries will be shipped once they are available. The specific shipping dates can also be found in your order confirmation.

 Have you ordered multiple products with different release dates? Then we will send these to you the day they become available. It is possible that you then receive multiple envelopes from us. Of course you do not have to pay extra shipping costs for this.

After shipment, you will receive the summaries the next day, depending on PostNL’s delivery. Please note that PostNL only delivers mail from Tuesday until Saturday.

At the top of this page you can click “Register”. Here you can fill in your details and click “Register” to create your account. It is not mandatory to register before placing your first order, you can also register when proceeding to checkout.

You can create your own password when registering. After creating your profile, you can easily change your password and email address. If you ever forget your password, you can reset it by filling in your email address under “Forgot password?”.

Here are three ways to pay at SlimAcademy.nl:

Direct Debit
You authorize SlimAcademy.nl to withdraw the total amount of your order from your bank account. In order to do this, you fill in your bank account number when placing your order. When choosing Direct Debit we will process your order immediately. The money will be withdrawn from your bank account in a few days. This payment method is free of charge.

iDEAL
It is also possible to pay using iDEAL (this is a specific payment method used in the Netherlands and usually only available to you when you have a Dutch bank account). When you choose iDEAL we will also process your order immediately. We charge € 0,50 for this payment method.

Creditcard
Finally, it is possible to pay with your creditcard. When you pay with your Mastercard or VISA, we will also process your order immediately. We charge € 0,50 for this payment method.

Tip: Direct Debit is the easiest and cheapest way to pay for your summaries!

For the shipment of your summaries you pay a contribution of €1.95. This amount is lower than the actual postal rates and than the amount charged by other providers. 

When picking up the summaries at one of our sales points, you obviously do not have to pay shipping costs.

Slim Academy summaries summarize the compulsory literature and the lectures of various subjects.

Additional information about the content, the amount of pages, and modifications compared to previous years can be found by clicking “view more” below a summary in our webshop.

Do you have a specific question? Feel free to contact our customer service.

This depends on your situation. If we do provide summaries for your next academic year, we will automatically convert your subscription to one for the next academic year. For example, your subscription for the second year of your bachelor will be extended as a subscription for the third year of the bachelor.

On the other hand, if you are currently in the second year of the bachelor and we do not provide summaries for the third year of the bachelor, your subscription will be changed to a lifetime subscription, which means you will have access (after your study) to all summaries of your study so you can continue to use them in your career.

It is possible that the price of this subscription changes. More information about this will be supplied to you in August per mail. If you decide to cancel your subscription as a result of a price increase, you can request the cancellation per mail before the first of September.

Our memberships have a minimum period of 12 months. This means that it is not possible to cancel your membership within the first 12 months. After this period, your membership can be cancelled at the end of each month.

Needless to say, when setting the prices for a membership we have taken into account the fact that you receive less or even no summaries in the summer, to ensure you do not pay too much and always get a better deal with a subscription than by buying all the summaries separately.

Our bank account number (IBAN) is NL81 ABNA 0590 3250 00 in Rotterdam. 

You can find summaries of all periods by selecting your study in our menu. You can then select the year and period for which you want to see the summaries. 

Stay up-to-date with all the relevant course-material within your field of expertise with a Lifetime Subscription! A Lifetime Subscription grants you unlimited digital access to all the summaries for every course you have taken during your studies or is newly added. For only 48 euros a year you’ll be able to keep up with all the (academic) developments within your field of expertise.

 Lifetime Subscriptions can only be bought by those who have purchased Slim Academy, SlimStuderen.nl and Capita Selecta products before.

When ordering a summary, you can choose in which way you want to receive it. We offer three different options:

– Only hardcopy

– Both hardcopy and digital

– Only digital

When you select one of the two last options, you will get digital access to your summary. We will send you an email when the summary is available. All you have to do is create an account and start reading your digital summary.

All digital summaries are available until the end of the academic year. At the beginning of the new academic year, we will remove the summaries. It is not possible to print the digital summaries.

The digital summary can be read online (SlimStuderen.mydox.nl) or even better in one of our apps for your phone, tablet or Windows 10 PC. Just look for SlimAcademy in the app store and you can start studying right away! Please be aware that unfortunately our apps are only available in the Dutch app store.
